Thank you for enquiring about Yoga at Buderim Yoga. We have 2 Yoga Classes per week and 1 Meditation Class per week.
You are welcome to join any class. There is no need to book for Yoga classes, you can just turn up to the class that suits you.

Everyone is welcome. You go at your own pace, there is no competition, just encouragement.

All classes are held at:
Buderim Girl Guides Hall 111 Burnett Street, Buderim. Sunshine Coast. Queensland.

You cannot see the hall from the road. It is the driveway next to the Lions Park on the top of Buderim Mountain. There is a Yoga Sign out the front. You are welcome to drive down the driveway and park near the Hall. We can boast that our Yoga Hall is quiet, has Ocean views and is a lovely place to do Yoga. I have given the dates for the whole year so you can plan to consistently put Yoga and Meditation in your life for the whole year.

What Type Of Yoga Do You Teach?

At Buderim Yoga, Lyn Moes teaches Classical Hatha Yoga. It is the Traditional Hatha Yoga, which originated in India.

It is the practice that includes: Prananyama which is breathing techniques; Asanas which is Yoga Postures and Yoga Nidra which is guided Relaxation. It is the holistic yogic path that includes Yama and Niyama and the 8 Limbs of Yoga. These are the moral disciplines directing us towards our goals of health, peace and happiness. Classical Yoga is in keeping with the Spiritual Teachings of Patanjali an Ancient Yoga Spiritual Master and acknowledges Yoga as a Way of Life.

It is important to find the Yoga style that resonates with you. The work you do on your Yoga Mat affects your whole life. It changes the way you breathe and as you breathe consciously your nervous system receives the benefits. It is a powerful therapy to help heal relationships and conquer fear and boost your overall outlook on life. It supports you physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It is a holistic system of wellness that you monitor yourself and has a positive effect in all areas of your life.

You take charge of your life. The correct teacher will become a friend for life as you progress to be the best you can be.

Frequently Asked Questions

I suggest you bring a Yoga Mat, a Yoga Block and a Yoga Strap.

 

If you don’t have any of those things just bring yourself and I can lend you what you need. A bottle of water and a shawl or blanket if it is cold.


I have Yoga Mats, Yoga Blocks and Yoga Straps for sale. (see shop on this website)

Yoga is about stretching so wear comfortable clothes you can stretch in.

Students can choose to pay for the Term up front, then the classes work out to be $20 per class.

 

When a student pays for the term, they can attend any of the classes in that Term.

 

If a student is attending a Monday Night class and misses a Monday, they can attend any other class to make up that class. It is up to the student to get what they pay for within that Term.

 

No refunds will be given and Term Fees are not transferrable.

 

A 10 week Term equals 10 clases and costs $200.00 and you have 20 classes to choose from within that Term to get your 10 classes.

Lyn Moes teaches private classes. If you would like to have a one on one Yoga Class with Lyn Moes to help correct a problem or to start you off on your practice or because of a health issue, or for any other reason, you are welcome to contact Lyn on 07 54453315 for a booking.

 

Private classes have proven to be of excellent benefit for individuals.


Private classes cost $100 per hour per person and bookings are essential.

Yes! Lyn Moes has taught many Corporate Yoga Classes for businesses, yoga retreats, and in schools, and Yoga Festivals and any functions outside of her Buderim Yoga Studio.

Welcome to Yoga. What a great choice you have made!


Congratulations on your decision to improve your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Your new venture could be a turning point in your life. Here are a few helpful tips:

 

  • Practice Yoga on an empty stomach
  • Do not practice Yoga under the influence of alcohol or drugs however small in amount
  • If you are a smoker do not smoke prior to practice, and at least 1 hour after  Yoga

 

Please tell the teacher if:

 

  • You are pregnant
  • You have a heart condition
  • You have any medical problems

There is no competition. If you cannot do the postures or you have difficulties or problems in the class, please discuss this with the teacher. Persevere and perfection will come in its own time.

 

Strive for at least one weekly lesson with a qualified teacher. Don’t do anything that is harmful, over-stimulating or forceful. The teacher will regulate your progress.

 

Wear comfortable clothes and leave jewellery at home.

 

It is advisable to read about the vast subject of Yoga. For information on suitable literature contact your teacher.

 

Remember your teacher is a well-wisher who points the way, she can light the tunnel, but you must walk it alone.
